Famed architect H.H. Richardson designed his masterpiece Palmer train station that is now home to the Steaming Tender Restaurant. This venue is a lovely mix of memorabilia and natural beauty.
Opposite the train station is a recently restored park that was designed by "The father of American landscape architecture", Frederick Law Olmsted. The park features a gravity defying Grotto that has to be seen to be believed.
